Article views
We count article views in aggregate so we can see which content is useful. Views are deduplicated per visitor, article version, and UTC day.
Search analytics
Search events record a normalised query, a query hash, result counts, and a privacy-preserving visitor key. We do not store full IP addresses or raw search text in the analytics layer.
Feedback and AI requests
Helpful or not-helpful feedback and optional comments are recorded for product improvement. AI questions are recorded with the selected source versions for auditing, but generated answers and retrieved private content are not stored or logged.
Security and audit
Administrative and lifecycle actions are written to audit logs so workspace owners and operators can review important changes.
Retention
Tracking data is kept only for as long as the configured retention policy allows. If a category does not yet have a final retention period, we treat that as an open implementation item rather than pretending it is fixed.
