Beetl operates as a multi-tenant knowledgebase service. For privacy questions, contact hello@beetl.net.
We process account details, verified email addresses, organisation membership and invitation data, article and knowledgebase content, support or deletion requests, session data, and limited usage analytics such as article views, search events, feedback, and AI questions.
We use the data to authenticate users, run each workspace, deliver email notifications, measure product usage, improve search and content, and maintain audit trails and security controls.
Where GDPR applies, we rely on contract, legitimate interests, consent when needed, and legal obligations depending on the activity.
We share data only with service providers needed to operate the platform, such as hosting, database, email, and storage providers, and with workspace members authorised by the organisation.
If data is transferred outside your country, we use appropriate contractual or legal safeguards where required.
Some data already expires automatically, including sign-in sessions, invitations, verification records, and purgeable analytics or feedback. Other retention periods are still being finalised and may change as the product matures.
Depending on your location, you may have rights to access, correct, delete, or object to processing. Workspace owners can also use the lifecycle tools to export or request deletion for an organisation.
We use access controls, tenant scoping, audit logs, and technical safeguards, but no online service can guarantee perfect security.
