Before you begin
Owner or Admin, a destination knowledgebase, and permission to read the source. The provider must be enabled in your environment and subscription.
1. Connect and select content
Open Settings → Integrations → Knowledge sources → Confluence → Connect Confluence. Choose the Destination knowledgebase and complete Atlassian authorisation.
In Choose spaces, select the authorised site and choose Load site spaces. Select only the approved spaces. Loading a site again resets space choices and previews.
Preview every selected space and review conversion limits and permission warnings. Continue any paginated preview until complete.
In Import drafts, confirm the source and destination, then import the restricted drafts. Inspect progress and failures before retrying.
Open Review imported drafts or Integrations → Needs review. Check content and access before approval; publish separately in Content Manager.
2. Review before publishing
Open imported articles from Content Manager. Verify formatting, links, attachments, and who should be allowed to read the content.
Check the source/ownership setting before editing imported material. Keep externally managed content aligned with its source; use a detached local copy when local ownership is intended.
Publish only after the content and audience have been checked. Test the Reader article with the intended access.
3. Pause, disconnect, or reconnect
Use Pause to stop processing temporarily and Resume when ready. Pausing retains the saved credentials.
Use Reauthorise to restore expired or removed access. Complete provider consent, then recheck the chosen workspace or site, source selections, ownership mode and sync frequency before queuing another sync.
Choose Disconnect when the integration should no longer be used. This queues a background job; check its successful result and the disabled connection state before treating disconnect as complete.
If a disconnect stays queued, ask Beetl support to check the connector worker. Source deletion and disconnect do not silently delete an already published Beetl article.
Check your result
Only selected content is imported, and publication remains a deliberate editorial decision.
If something goes wrong
Setup required or disabled button: ask Beetl support to check provider readiness and subscription access.
Missing documents: check the selected source, source-account permissions, preview warnings, and supported file types.
Failed sync: inspect the connector error and history before queuing another run; avoid repeatedly reconnecting without diagnosing the error.
