Before you begin
Owner or Admin for integration setup. Live provider availability depends on the subscription and environment; a Coming soon label is not an active connector.
1. Check the service
Open Settings → Integrations → Knowledge sources and select SharePoint or OneDrive. For Microsoft services, inspect SharePoint and OneDrive separately.
Read the service status. If it shows Coming soon, choose View setup guide or Contact support for current availability. Do not expect a provider sign-in or successful sync from this state.
2. Import exported files
Export the required source content in a format supported by Beetl’s document import. Keep only content you are authorised to move.
Choose Import exported files, select the destination knowledgebase, and inspect supported formats and warnings. Import a small representative batch first.
Review every resulting draft for formatting, links, missing attachments, and audience. Publish through Content Manager only after those checks.
3. Plan a live connection
Ask Beetl support about provider readiness and the intended source scope. When the service is enabled, follow its current guided setup, authorise the correct account, preview selected sources, and verify a small import before expanding it. An exported-file import is a snapshot, not an ongoing sync.
Check your result
You know whether a live connection is available, and any exported content remains a reviewable draft until you publish it.
If something goes wrong
Coming soon: use the exported-file route or contact support; repeated sign-in attempts will not enable the provider.
Missing content after file import: inspect format support, conversion warnings, source permissions, and attachments before publishing.
Private source content: confirm the Beetl audience independently before publication.
