Before you begin
Owner or Admin. Check the person’s content ownership and assigned work first. Only an Owner can remove another Owner, and the final Owner cannot be removed.
1. Review before removing
Open Settings → People and access and locate the correct person.
Reassign content they maintain where needed, and decide how any outstanding reviews or learning work should be handled.
Open their details and confirm their name, role, and groups.
2. Remove the membership
In the person’s Account section, find Danger zone and choose Remove from workspace.
Read the confirmation carefully: they will lose access immediately. Confirm only after checking the person and workspace.
Check that the person no longer appears as an active workspace member.
What removal means
This action removes access to this workspace. It is not a command to erase the person’s global Beetl account or delete all historical records. Handle any separate data-deletion request through your agreed data-care process. Pending invitations have their own revoke action.
Check your result
The removed person can no longer use their membership to access this workspace.
If something goes wrong
Owner controls unavailable: ask a workspace Owner to perform the change.
Final Owner warning: appoint another Owner before changing the last Owner’s membership.
For several users, review the People list’s bulk-action preview and each result; remove Owners individually.
