Before you begin

Owner or Admin for Security and privacy. Data lifecycle exports, retention changes, and deletion requests are Owner-only.

1. Set AI processing permissions

1. Open Settings → Security and privacy.

2. Review Allow AI processing, Allow Knowledge Intelligence AI, and Allow behavioural intelligence AI.

3. Choose the settings approved for your workspace and select Save AI controls.

4. Check the saved state. If AI is disabled for the whole deployment, workspace controls cannot override it.

2. Review retention and data requests

1. Read the Retention summary for analytics, feedback, learning progress, and AI interactions.

2. As an Owner, open Data lifecycle to review supported retention changes and exports.

3. Before a deletion request, read its scope and confirmation carefully and arrange any required export. Membership removal and workspace data deletion are separate actions.

Check your result

Your workspace’s AI settings reflect your policy, and an Owner knows where to manage lifecycle requests.

If something goes wrong

• AI remains unavailable: check the deployment-wide switch and subscription availability.

• Lifecycle action unavailable: ask a workspace Owner to review it.
