Before you begin
Owner, Admin or Editor with recommendations enabled. Available decisions depend on role and recommendation state. Review the underlying content before accepting a proposal.
1. Find a recommendation worth reviewing
Open Knowledge Intelligence → Recommendations. Review New, Under review, Accepted, Saved for later and Stale counts.
Use the board filters for title, status, confidence, urgency, type and knowledgebase to find a manageable scope.
Open the recommendation and read its sources, evidence, confidence and warnings. Confidence is not a guarantee that the proposed change is correct.
2. Check and refine the proposal
Open the source article and compare the recommendation with current content and reader needs. Check whether the source changed since analysis.
Edit the proposal details where the review form allows it. Keep a concrete intended outcome and destination, and explain the reasoning in the available notes.
For stale or weak evidence, refresh or investigate first. Do not accept solely because a recommendation is labelled high urgency.
3. Record the decision and verify history
Use the available review decision: move into review, accept, save for later or dismiss as appropriate. Check the resulting status and history.
Acceptance records a decision; it does not automatically apply a category structure or publish an article. Follow the relevant application or article editing workflow separately.
Revisit saved recommendations when evidence or priorities change. After applying an approved change, check the actual content and current Reader publication.
Check your result
The recommendation has a justified status and review history, with any application or publication handled explicitly.
If something goes wrong
Decision unavailable: confirm your role and the current recommendation state.
Proposal is stale: compare the source version and refresh evidence before applying it.
Accepted but nothing changed: acceptance is not application; follow the appropriate article or proposed-architecture workflow.
