Before you begin
Editor, Admin, or Owner to author; Owner or Admin to approve and publish. Publish source articles in the target knowledgebase first.
1. Start with the outcome
Open Learning Studio → Guided journey. Enter Journey name and Intended outcome, then choose the Knowledgebase.
Choose Create and add content to open Journey Studio. You can begin with an empty draft; Publish explains what is required before release.
Use Suggest journey only when you want AI assistance and it is available; check each suggested published source.
2. Build the sequence
In Build, choose Add article or activity. Use All, Articles, Assessments, or Activities to find published content in this knowledgebase.
Arrange the Journey outline in the order people should follow. Use the item actions to move a step up or down, or drag it into position.
Select each step and choose Required or Optional under Completion. For article steps, explain why the step matters and check any prerequisites for later reading.
Wait for the saved state and resolve any save or content warnings.
3. Review, approve, and publish
Open Deliver and check self-directed availability and delivery settings. Publishing and assigning are separate actions.
Open Publish. Review the learner preview and resolve every release-readiness issue.
An Owner or Admin chooses Approve this revision, then Publish journey. Changes after approval require approval again.
Test the Reader journey. For formal assignments, create a rollout from Learning Studio → Delivery.
Check your result
The intended audience can follow a published journey with a clear sequence and verified completion rules.
If something goes wrong
No articles in the picker: publish articles in the same knowledgebase first.
Publish unavailable: check your role, readiness issues, and approval of the exact current revision.
No learner assignments: create a rollout separately after publication.
