Before you begin
Editor, Admin, or Owner to edit the journey. Publish each assessment or activity in the journey’s knowledgebase before adding it.
1. Choose what proves the outcome
Use an article to explain; an assessment to check understanding; a form to collect information; an evidence request to collect proof; an acknowledgement to confirm a statement; and a signature to capture a sign-off. These are Beetl learning tools. External data exchange is configured separately under Integrations.
2. Add the published activity
Open the journey’s Build tab → Add article or activity. Use Articles, Assessments, or Activities and search to find the published tool in this knowledgebase. Check the title and version before selecting the tool.
Set the new activity’s Required option appropriately, then add it.
Arrange it in the Journey outline. For example: read the procedure → pass the assessment → submit evidence → sign off.
Select the activity in the outline to inspect its completion setting and type.
3. Check dependencies and publish
Confirm any article prerequisites and the combined order of reading and activities.
Use the learner preview to check the hand-off between each item. Check whether submitted evidence still requires review.
Have an Owner or Admin approve and publish the revision from Publish. Test it with the intended Reader access, then inspect Results and the relevant response or assessment records.
Check your result
Your journey combines the right published tools in a sequence that proves the intended outcome.
If something goes wrong
Tool missing: check its publication state and knowledgebase; a draft cannot be added as a published journey activity.
Changing a source tool does not mean every existing learner has moved to the new version. Review the journey’s selected version and publish the intended revision.
To disconnect an activity, use its removal control in the journey. This is separate from deleting the reusable tool itself.
